Open PhD Position

We are hiring a doctoral researcher focused on reliable and resource-efficient deep learning techniques, with an emphasis on spike-based neural computation mechanisms in modern learning systems. The PhD research will address both fundamental and applied algorithmic questions on learning methods and neural architectures. The position is funded for a duration of 3-years (40h/week, full-time).

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Strong technical background in machine learning with deep neural networks
• Good programming skills (e.g., PyTorch or JAX)
• Excellent academic record and strong motivation for research
